Dan is a freelance writer, advertising copywriter, and speaker who focuses on bringing great stories to life. Applying a light and playful touch to all he types, his mission is to help his readers to better see, feel and understand the world we live in.
He is actively against borrowed wisdom and intellectual laziness, and guesses you probably are, too. It is his fervent hope that through storytelling, he will inspire others to consider, clarify, nurture, and challenge their own points of view, gain confidence in their convictions, and perhaps even act on them.
As a worker bee, Dan has covered a wide swath of industries in a curious array of roles. He’s been an ad man and financial analyst, a hospital manager and White House intern. He’s served as somebody’s bitch at a TV trade rag, and as somebody else’s bitch on the set of an ABC-TV AfterSchool Special. As a tight-jeaned teenager he was paid to paint rainbows on ladies undergarment with nothing but a tube of glitter glue. He has lived throughout the U.S. and London, and brings his personal observations from around the globe to the stories he tells. Dan is in the process of launching two new personal essay blogs, The Incidental Narcissist, and La Sensualiste, and is currently writing a novel about stuffed animals in love.
